Decatur boys basketball coach Roger Brown is now taking registration for two popular camps July 7-10 at the high school. Camp for boys entering grades first through third will be held daily from 9 to 11 a.m., while those going into grades 4-9 will camp from noon to 4 p.m. The fundamental camp will focus on shooting, passing and dribbling.
All Bridgeport ISD athletes entering grades 7, 9 and 11 must have a new physical before the first day of practice for their sport. Physicals will be held at the Bridgeport High School gym for $15.

Andrea Wolf of Decatur won the barrel race at last weekend's Mesquite Championship Rodeo. She was the weekend winner by posting a 16.00, just ahead of Quitman's Arinda Richards at 16.44.
The annual Decatur Lady Eagles softball camp will begin Monday and continue through Thursday. Varsity softball coach Scott McTee will accept registrations for the camp Monday morning, June 9, for those who have not had the chance to sign up.
