PBR Challenge tickets now on sale

Tickets went on sale Thursday for the fifth annual J. W. Hart PBR Challenge bull-riding competition set for May 24 at the Sheriff's Posse arena in Decatur. For tickets go to http://www.wcchallenger.org or call (800) 514-3849. Tickets are also available at Wise Wireless in the Prada Shops on FM 51 South in Decatur.

Adult league coaches meeting

There will be a co-ed and men's league meeting May 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Renshaw Park. Contact Clifton North at (940) 393-2752 for more information. A coach from each team must be in attendance.

Benefit tourney set for May 17

There will be a co-ed softball tournament benefiting the Susan B. Coleman Breast Cancer Foundation on May 17. The deadline to sign-up is May 14. Contact Clifton North at (940) 393-2752 or Kelley Walsh at (817) 366-1980 to sign-up. The entry fee is $200 per team.

Paradise memorial scholarship created

A scholarship has been established at Paradise High School to be given to a graduating senior in 2008 in memory of Ryan Lowe, a Paradise student/athlete who was killed in an accident Aug. 4. Anyone who wishes to donate can call Laura Hodges at (940) 210-9470.

Bull football season tickets

Bridgeport Season Football Tickets are available at the Bridgeport High School attendance office Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets are $40 per seat for the season.

Spots still open on swim team

The Decatur AquaRACERS Swim team will continue accepting new members until May 5. Tryouts will be held each Monday at 4:50 p.m. Swimmers should arrive no later than this time to fill out paperwork and be ready to get in the water promptly at 5 p.m.
