Calling all senior golfers

Male golfers, age 50 or older, are invited to join the Oil Belt Senior Men's Golf Association. Dues and tournament fees are minimal, and members play 13 different area courses. For more information call J. E. Carson at (940) 627-2244.

Volleyball league starts in two weeks

Sign-ups are ending soon for the North Texas Volleyball Showdown spring league. Games will be played every Friday in May in Decatur and a season-ending tournament will be held May 31. Call Brandy Mayfield at (940) 210-0745 or Kelcie Newton at (940) 636-7741.

Paradise memorial scholarship created

A scholarship has been established at Paradise High School to be given to a graduating senior in 2008 in memory of Ryan Lowe, a Paradise student/athlete who was killed in an accident Aug. 4. Anyone who wishes to donate can call Laura Hodges at (940) 210-9470.

Bull football season tickets

Bridgeport Season Football Tickets will be on sale starting Monday and available through April 25 for current season ticket holders. Tickets are available at the Bridgeport High School attendance office Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets are $40.00 per seat for the season.
